Yan’s music career has afforded him the opportunity to work across many
genres with some of the industries top artists, mixing engineers and producers.
After graduating Berklee College of Music, he moved to Los Angeles where he studied
with Manny Marroquin and Andrew Scheps. He mixed for Jazz legends such as
Stanley Clarke, Jean Luc-Ponty, Ruslan Sirota and many others. Yan’s mixing
diversity is heard in music by Karen Souza, Ruelle and Wax as well as in
music scores of such movies as “This Is The Year”, “Exeter”,
“You Have Changed My Life and ”Fatal Acquital”.
As a composer, Yan works for PremiumBeat and Triple Scoop Music music libraries.
His music can be heard in movies such as “Priorities”, “Dead Sexy” and
“Lost After Dark” as well as the computer game “World of Zoo” (THQ)
Some of his music for TV include the shows “The Voice”, “The Today Show”,
“Dateline”, “Pawn Stars”, “Access Hollywood”, and “E News.”
Yan’s studio is based in Los Angeles.
